Note: we do not remove gates, fence posts, or trees, but we do need clear access to the installation site. Three things keep a Southeast metal shed cool and dry:

1. Ventilation: Add gable vents (offered at order) or a ridge vent - these let hot air escape and stop moisture from sitting on the underside of the roof.
2. Insulation: For workshops or year-round use, add reflective bubble-foil insulation between the metal panels and the framing (we can spec this at order, or you can add it after installation).
3. Site prep: Place the shed on a level, well-drained spot with at least 2 feet of clearance from trees. Keep the perimeter clear of mulch and standing water.

For cleaning, a standard mix of household bleach and water rinsed off with a hose removes mildew, leaf stains, and tree sap. No painting, sealing, or annual treatment required.
